Yeah, it’s really sad that she’s gone. She was just kind of always there, you know? Like my house and my books and the sky. Even though she was human, I expected her to just always be there.
You know, that’s exactly the way I felt about it. I was just shocked by the news, in a rug-out-from-under-me kind of way. I realized that she was the first artist I knew by name when I was a kid, and just as you said, I kind of just expected her to always be there.
